I want to start by saying a huge thanks for joining Team Angela
- I’m really excited about this campaign and humbled by how many people have
signed up already.
Today, MP nominations closed in the contest. I’m proud to have
so much support from across the Parliamentary Labour Party, and from our MEPs,
but now it’s over to our members and affiliates.
Over the weeks ahead, I’ll be speaking to members the length and
breadth of the UK about how we can get Labour back into government, so we can
do what we all joined the party to do - change people’s lives and communities
for the better. But I can’t do that without your support.

I’m excited about this campaign
and the opportunity to travel around the country to speak to members again -
