UNISON and Clarion Housing Association sign recognition agreement

Latest news from UNISON in Clarion and Latimer View this email in your browser Clarion Housing Association and UNISON: Working in partnership On Thursday 4th May 2017, Clarion Housing Association Chief Executive Keith Exford and UNISON General Secretary Dave Prentis signed a trade union recognition agreement. By signing the agreement, both parties agreed to work together, to ensure fair treatment of staff which will allow the business to flourish. UNISON will represent all Clarion Housing Association staff in annual negotiations on pay and conditions. We will also have 8 seats on the 15 seat staff forum. If you are interested in being involved with, or want more information on what recognition means, this please get in touch. Dave Prentis, said: “Working with UNISON in this way will contribute to the success of the Clarion.  Our reps will stay in close touch with staff and highlight issues when they arise.  This recognition agreement is a major step forward. ” We are about to start talks with all subsidiaries on trade union recognition for all staff in the group Dave Prentis and Keith Exford signing the agreement  Now is the time to join UNISON We welcome the improved relations between Clarion and the trade unions. We are also optimistic about what we can achieve together. Inevitably some Clarion staff will need our advice and support while Circle and Affinity Sutton are merged into a single operation. Anyone wanting the full support of the trade union will need to be a member. Please encourage your colleagues to join as soon as possible.
