Newham Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair 2013

Last year's event was packed out. Well done to Lyn and Stephen for organising this years event as well.

Lyn has asked people to publicise this event as "We hope the fair will bring employers together with potential employees and provide advice on writing CVs, finding jobs online and interview skills to help people find work".

Off message. While out campaigning yesterday in the sunshine I could not help admiring and taking pictures of the gorgeous looking blossom on the surprisingly high number of trees that line our streets and green areas. You probably just don’t notice the trees that much at other times of the year.

Afterwards we met up in the Black Lion in Plaistow for a drink and a natter in the beer garden sitting amongst very happy West Ham United FC supporters (they had just beaten Sunderland at home 1-0)
