Spring Blossom during West Ham Ward #Labourdoorstep

What I enjoy about campaigning in May is all the beautiful spring blossom. The main picture of the huge tree near the Vicarage Lane Community Centre, E15 is simply breathtaking.

So instead of grinning selfies of canvassers please enjoy some pictures from last weekends campaigning.

Don't worry. Normal selfie service will soon be resumed :)

West Ham in blossom.

Off message. While out campaigning yesterday in the sunshine I could not help admiring and taking pictures of the gorgeous looking blossom on the surprisingly high number of trees that line our streets and green areas. You probably just don’t notice the trees that much at other times of the year.

Afterwards we met up in the Black Lion in Plaistow for a drink and a natter in the beer garden sitting amongst very happy West Ham United FC supporters (they had just beaten Sunderland at home 1-0)
