Good news. I was able to book my Covid vaccine jabs today on NHS site in 10 minutes. 1st dose next Sunday.

I only needed my NHS number, (you probably have a card or letter with the number somewhere) date of birth and postcode.
We still live in very difficult times but hopefully this is to me light at the end of the tunnel.
I do get it that some are very suspicious of the vaccinations and considering the conduct of our national government over the course of the pandemic and the various scandals, I am not surprised this is so.
I failed my O level biology twice so I am in no position to lecture people but personally I trust our scientists (not Boris) to make the right call on this.
Please go and get yourself vaccinated as soon as possible.

I don't know if there is evidence the vaccine is working in protecting people or not. Looking at the numbers for Israel and UK. I can't see a sharp drop in cases to coincide with vaccinatin. In the UK we have 22million vaccinated with the first shot and then 1.2 million for the second dose. Numbers are going down in the UK naturaly, but that is down to lockdown.
It is peculiar, the number of cases for the the flu have gone down this winter with mask wearing and washing hands, but it has no impact on COVID cases. On the contrary COVID cases shot up in winter. They were predicting a double shot. Why did COVID cases go up, whilst flu cases went down? A friend remarked, he had n't had a single cold this winter.
Israel has gone for Pzifer vaccine. Both Moderna and BioNTech (Pzifer) have failed to produce a single medicine based on newly discovered RNA research. However both companies have n't succeeded in producing a RNA vaccine?. It was supposed to be the next big leap. The companies are protected from compensation claims and liability. The people at Moderna sold off some of their stock earlier in the year. Why would they do that, if they had a miracle cure?. As they could have built many more medicines on top of RNA discoveries. Moderna has n't produced a single scientific paper in their 11 year history. Other scientists cannot review the quality of their work or the progress of their research and discovery. BioNTech has been more open about their discoveries and published many papers.
People have seen a political shift. Under Corbyn in th UK and AOC in the US. Both on the left have waged war against the 1%. Inequality. Burdening pension, social care and lack of housing. The billionaires probably felt uneasy and threatned by the mob. On trait of billionaires is paranoia!. Why would a billionaire be investing millions in pandamic research and and telling us pandamic is coming?. As well has paying for research to "model" a possible pandamic and plan for an outbreak?. Some of the research and investments have raised eye brows including support of GMO crops. There are many companies who have received research grants from the foundation. That alone makes me uncomfortable. The Guardian received £5million from the foundation. Oxford wanted to open license the vaccine discovery, so anyone with capacity could make it. However, they were forced by the foundation to pair up with Pzifer. Why? Are they a charitable foundation or a profit making enterprise? Today's vaccine is at "cost". What about the next vaccine? Will we have a subscription model for a new vacine ever year? Pay to live? You will need an update for the South African variant….

It appears that jabs and lockdown are bringing down death and hospital rates. Covid is obviously more infectious and deadly than modern flu in particularly the new variants.
My flu jab this year was a mixture of I think 4 different variants they were expecting. Next year will no doubt be a different mix.
I am not a scientist and subscribe to the cock up theory of life rather than conspiracy. Time will tell
