Funny how history repeats itself.
Iconic Labour Movement poster.
UPDATE: David Miliband thinks it is from 1929 General Election. While a better quality image of poster is here.

Hi John,
Can I ask where you found that poster? If possible could you email me a copy at a higher resolution?
best, Ben Sansum
Hi Ben
Sorry - I can't remember. I have a stack of these images. I will email a friend who might have sent it to me and ask if he has a better version I will let you know.
If you google you could see it on other sites http://randompottins.blogspot.com/2010/05/new-age-of-austerity-but-not-for-some.html
Hi john,
Thanks for letting me know; your google-fu is obviously stronger than mine as I didn't find that version while I was looking yesterday! Thats just what I need, thanks.
Hello John. That's an excellent poster. My dad also used it on his blog after the recent budget. We are intruiged to know exactly when it is from. My dad thinks it's from the 1930s, but is it in fact older than that?
Here is my dad's similar blog entry: peterhousehold.blogspot.com/2010/06/lets-all-step-down-one-rung.html
Hi Albert
2 years late but apologies for not responding sooner.
I've googled around like you and think you are right that this is from 1930's not 1911. Cannot remember where I got 1911 from?
Hi
David Miliband no less thinks it is from the 1929 General Election http://labourlist.org/2013/01/the-imagery-behind-david-milibands-speech-this-afternoon/
Thanks, I'll let my dad know.
