“Workers of ???? Unite – Competition.

I can’t resist posting this recent leaflet and asking you all to guess what are the occupations of the horny handed sons (or daughters) of toil that were behind it.
Clearly according to the poster, all real strikers are stocky white male manual workers. No role for black or female workers in the great struggle I suppose?

So let’s try and guess the occupations of the actual authors: -

Let me see, are they

1. Coal Miners?
2. Steelworkers?
3. Dockers?
4. Textile workers?
5. Car Mechanics? (see spanner left)
6. Agricultural workers?
7. Middle class London local government admin officers?

I think we should be told and that no-one should guess and use the term “bankers” in case of any possible misunderstanding and resulting offense.

John it’s a bit obvious when you get someone else to write or at least tip you off with an idea that is not yours. The so called workers are red! It is almost certainly a piece of free clip art. Maybe the branch concerned should have spent vast amounts of money on some specialist art work rather then pay any striking workers hardship! Finally you obviously know very little about the pay of admin workers or if you do you obviously feel the need to take the p**s out of low paid part time mainly women workers.

This just makes you look a completely daft.

Even New labour, the fact is people at the bottom have to have better pay, but hell we are told Mandy is angry about Flexi time, and labour MP's are to get extra time off at Christmas, we are told because of the hard work. ha ha ha ha

Hi Andrew
I quite like this post! It’s a “he” of course who designed this poster, you knew this don’t you?

Low paid part time women worker have little time for those who prefer to postulate about life than actually do things.
