Mercader Brigade

Comrades, welcome to the launch of a new historical and political society the “Mercader Brigade”. This society is dedicated to the memory of a true socialist and freedom fighter, Ramon Mercader. Ramon risked his life to rid the world of wreakers, splitters and gangsters. He kept the faith and never betrayed his comrades despite years of imprisonment. A special commemorative badge has been produced to mark the occasion.

The aims of all our fraternal brother and sister Brigadiers are:-

Publish the truth about Trotsky and Trotskyism and how even today Trotskyites continue to hamper the fight for Peace and Socialism.

Campaign to declare that 20 August should be an international holiday.

Demand that the Schools national curriculum should include lessons on the dangers of Trotskyism.

Award the “Order of the Ice Pick” every month to those comrades who have bravely battled against capitalism’s fifth columnists.

Since Comrade Lenin himself said “A joke is the only way of responding mildly to Trotsky’s intolerable phrase-mongering”. We shall be using true socialist humour to help get our true message across to the masses.

Our first social event will be held shortly to celebrate the impending victory in London of the forces of truth and justice against the evil ones. Details to follow. In future years our annual social will be held on February 7th.
