Last week I got a ballot paper on whether or not to keep our Union's political campaign fund or not. I voted "YES" and posted in on Sunday. This ballot has to take place every 10 years. Our ability to campaign on political issues to protect members and improve pay and conditions is absolutely vital.
You have to vote by post only (for now - hopefully our political campaigning will result in our balloting process being brought up to date).
The ballot closes on 16 August. The result of the ballot will be published on 22 August.
