Lobby Government Over Pensions Theft"
Okay, okay its not "theft" (by the government anyway) but the refusal to honour the ombudsman decision that people had been misled by the "government" of the day (nearly all under the Tories) over the safety of their schemes is plain wrong. The judicial review has by and large upheld this view. Come on Tony (George or even Michael - God forbid), sort this out. This is an own goal. Pension Theft have model letters to send to your MP's, sign the on-line petitions; ask your branch committees, trade councils, trade union political officers, local Labour Party's to get involved.

So who are George and Michael (and why god forbid the latter?) Perhaps those on the Labour link Committee should make this a key area of questioning (and condition of supporting ) of potential leadership and deputy leadership candidates as its an isue facing ordinary working class people?
Not sure how well you can defend Pensions by hiding your name? Its Gordon (as in) Brown and Michael (as in Meacher). While I would agree with many (not all) of Michael's policies I think that they would make Labour unelectable. Also, Cameron would eat him alive. It is interesting to see the abuse he has got from the "left" since he announced he was standing.
Remembering that individual Labour Link members will vote for the new leadership not the committee. I do think that this issue is a suitable issue to question all candidates however, it would be nice to pick someone who can actually win an election.
