I’ve just heard that following the very sad and unexpected death of Labour Councillor Simon Tucker, a by-election will now be held on Thursday 26 March 2009.This is the first by-election in Newham for many years.
It should be a straight Labour v. Tory fight.
I think the ward is picking a candidate tonight? Busy 6 weeks ahead. All hands to the pump and all that...
