It ...Thank you for speaking up for private renters. It is scandalous how badly this sector is weighed in favour of the landlords. We have the worst tenure, quality, size and some of the highest rents in Europe. Little protection for renters against parasitical landlords who feast on the work of those forced to rent. The government should be investing in social housing the money it is currently using to pay rich landlords housing benefit. Also, kudos to Newham for bringing in compulsory landlord licensing.
