  1. John,

Is the title of this blogpost your prediction for the next General Election?

    Spot on!

  2. Hi Mike
I would have thought you would have known that the Socialist Party aka SPEW aka militant tendency had been kicked out of the Labour Party? Don’t tell me that now you have left the Tories you are a Millie?

Anyway the polls are turning and there is everything to win by Labour.

BTW Why haven’t you responded to my offer of help from Newham TULO to get trade union recognition with your employer?

  3. Sorry, my mistake... but it's still a good prediction.

Thanks for the offer re trade union recognition, however, I'm no longer with any of the larger, well known bookmakers (I've worked fro two of the large companies and have contacts with most of the others). While I was working for the last company I did follow up on several avenues, sadly there isn't much of a "will" among betting shop employees to join a union (lot of part-time staff and student employees). Furthermore, the employers are pretty good at implicit threats.

Having said all that, I am aware of three really good people who are working on the problem - two are Trades Unions reps and one is... wait for it.... wait for it... a Tory councillor.

  5. Is it true that they told the tribunal that lawyers and judges would be first among the victims of their 'revolutionary' society?

And if so, just how stupid are these people?

    Good riddance to bad rubbish.

  6. Who is next then ?

Lambeth Militants seem the most likliest of candidates..... they are even pissing off the 'Jon and Nick' double act..... Haven't they also used the Socialist Party 'Discrimination on Political Beliefs' defence to hide behind ,when exposed in the past (see pass the sick bag x 2 ) This well thought out Tribunal ruling means that we do not have to wait untill the Glorious Twelth to come around !! Talk about sitting ducks waiting to be bagged .

    Keep it up John

  10. I have little patience for far left grouplets but Unison is such a poor excuse for a Trade Union... how much do their top 3 earn? And how much in expenses??
And now they use "management" techniques to sack people inside their own organisation... beyond contempt, truly vile.
And one poll does not make a victory - not after Rawnsley's little squib, hmm?
When did you last kick/punch/scream at an office junior, Mr Brown?
He is screwed, New Labour is screwed.

  11. Hi Henry

Do you realise how much you sound like the ultra left? I can tell you are some sort of bigot but what type? We should be told!

Head teachers and doctors in Newham alone earn far more than the “top 3” in unison. So maybe get your facts right?

Your new mateys in the ultra left like everyone else will be treated properly under the union rule book.

Going by the polls it looks like that we are going to win. Once the election is called and people have to make choices IMO it will be a certainty.

Extremists and bigots of all sorts will be squabbling about not joining the lost deposit brigade.

    LOL.
