It appears that a blogging comrade of mine is somewhat upset at the prospect of a democratic election (by secret ballot) of a national trade union position?I think I know the real reason why? However, personally, I couldn't possible comment.

As someone with a passing interest in the elections for LG in London, I have now read your blog and also seen the enlightening 'handbags at dawn' spat on an NEC member's blog between Glenn Kelly and said NEC member. Hmmm, tough choice.....sectarian self-indulgence versus commitment to the members actually represented. Good luck John and ewhen casting my vote, I'll certainly be voting for someone more interested in my issues than their own navel.....
